Marshall Beckham

Marshall graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the Terry College of Business. After graduation he began his career at a leading global insurance broker, Marsh & McLennan, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. During his tenure he participated in an executive level training regiment which included advanced technical work in insurance claims, premium funding, and market strategies. After a few years, he joined CIGNA Healthcare (a Fortune 100 Company) in Charleston, SC as an employee benefits Sales Executive responsible for South Carolina.

During a successful career at CIGNA Healthcare, Marshall became an employee benefits expert while consulting with companies ranging from 5 to 5,000 employees. He was recognized for top performance by being awarded the company’s GOLD CIRCLE and S.E.L.L. (Sales Excellence and Leadership). While his health insurance skill set is extensive, his areas of expertise include employer health plan strategies, premium funding options, consumerism (H.S.A./ H.R.A) and improving health plan costs and administrative efficiencies.

In 2008 Marshall became the President of the insurance agency, Maybank & Beckham, LLC. His Charleston, SC agency was firmly established by Mr. David Maybank Sr. in 1966. The agency has an impressive track record of success spanning nearly 45 years. He has carried the agency to the next level by providing customers with forward thinking solutions in today’s ever- changing insurance market place. Most importantly he puts customers first and understands long term relationships are built by providing trustworthy, dependable and reliable service. In 2011 he partnered with Maybank & Beckham, giving their clients a full service agency for employee benefits, asset management, business planning. Marshall has been rewarded numerous industry Top Group and Individual Producer awards. He also participates as a broker advisor for several insurance industry organizations.

Lynn Kramer

Insurance Advisor
Lynn received her bachelor’s from Lander University in 1993. In 2008, she graduated magna cum laude from the Masters Program at the University of South Carolina with a degree in Library and Information Science. Lynn Kramer joined Maybank and Beckham from a after working with a major health insurance carrier for over two years. She also brings over ten years of previous insurance experience including working with TPA’s and carriers representing self funded business, provider contracting, policy compliance, pharmacy benefit managing, supplemental medical, dental, life and disability. She also has over eight years experience in research as a reference librarian. She is holds a producers license in Life, Accident and Health. Her previous client experience has been groups over 50 lives from various industry sectors. Lynn’s unique knowledge makes her an asset to our clients by solving issues with carriers for members and her comprehensive insurance knowledge provides a new perspective for problem solving for our clients.
